As a Care and Support Worker, you will be closely supporting customers to enable them to do everything they need to do to live well. Essentially, you put the comfort, happiness and safety of our customers first - and do what you can to support them. We have a number of shifts available locally to support a customer with learning disabilities and epilepsy, by accompanying them to get out into the community, attend appointments and enrich and promote their independence and well-being. You'll be joining a well-established community care team who care for our customers who live in and around Frome . A Care and Support Worker is our most essential role and involves: * Helping our customers to remain in their own homes. * Supporting our customers by accompanying them to appointments, shopping, preparing meals and helping with daily living routines including washing, dressing and personal care. * Providing companionship and making someone's day that little bit easier. * Understanding the care plan in place to support the customers we look after. * Keeping clear and accurate records of the care and support provided at each visit. What we need from you: * A caring, kind and empathetic approach * To be passionate about making a difference * Good communication skills * To work flexibly on set shifts including weekends * To be a car driver (desirable but not essential ) No experience is necessary as you will be given full training and support right from the out set.
