Student Holiday Worker

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic ENGINEERING students to work as Plastic Injection Moulding Operators during the holidays. This would suit students who are studying Engineering at University and wish to gain practical experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment and who might even be interested in applying for our Internship/Graduate programme in the future. You will have a conscientious attitude to work and be able to demonstrate attention to detail. We need a multi-tasker comfortable in a busy environment. Experience is not essential as full training will be given. Job Summary : You will be responsible for ensuring that jobs are running to approved quality formats as set out by the quality department You will perform hands on production and assembly functions including running machines and packing You will be able to work safely and responsibly with adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental policies We expect you to report any non-conformities/quality concerns you find to the Quality Department We are a 5S factory and you should ensure that the work area is clean and tidy at all times If you spot ideas for improvements we encourage you to put them forward Hours & Location Shift work will be required (between 8 to 12 hours per shift) Benefits: On the job training Workwear provided Possibility of regular holiday work for the right candidates Opportunity to work for an innovative, growing company with a friendly team Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the UK Must be 18 years of age or over Hold a UK Driving Licence Preferably have own transport Apply for this Job
