Job Description

My client, one of the most exciting growth projects in the re seller industry right now, are looking to add experienced Consultant with a background in firewalls and network security to join them in some of the most exciting projects in the UK right now involving Public sector clients across the defence industry and a growing network of private sector clients too. The business themselves are aiming for 300% growth in the next 5 years and want to compete with the top re-sellers in the UK following new investment a year ago. A key aim for this company is becoming a Certified B Corporation, an accreditation representative of the businesses aim to use business for good, helping local charities, the environment and their own staff in a transparent way. Home-based with an inconsistent amount of travel to client-sites that candidates must be flexible with. There won't be a great deal of travel but as with any consultancy roles, it's difficult to commit to specific amounts. Experience required (Flexible depending on salary expectations) * Extensive knowledge and implementation experience in a broad range of security technologies including Next Generation Firewalls (L4-L7), IPS/IDS, Web Application Firewalls, Load-Balancing, L2 and L3 switching and IPSEC VPN. * Should hold or have held a relevant professional IT security qualification e.g. PCNSE or CCNP * Experience in a consultancy background or in an internal consulting role of a large organisation * Ability to understand complex technical concepts * Ability to learn and absorb new skills and technologies * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Able to create high quality technical documentation * Relevant technologies - Palo Alto Networks, Sophos, Cisco, F5, VMware NSX, Darktrace.
