We seek a Product Manager, New Products & Market Solutions , to join our Higher Education Courseware Product Management team, dedicated to creating innovative and research-based products that capitalize on market opportunities, meet customer needs and deliver better learning outcomes and experiences. The Product Manager, New Products & Market Solutions role will take a lead on accelerating growth for our key digital product models - including Revel, Mylab, Mastering and eBooks - across our Higher Education market portfolios, working closely with UK and US product and go-to-market colleagues and customers to achieve product : market fit , develop markets and inform product-model roadmaps for the UK market. This is a very mission-focused role, harnessing deep digital-courseware product knowledge, customer-engagement, research, piloting and market-development efforts to drive adoption and usage of the next generation of digital learning experiences in higher education. The role reports to the Director, Product Management UK HE & Professional, and will collaborate with teams in the UK and North America. Deep insight and relevant customer-facing experience in both HE markets and digital courseware products are foundational to success in this role, alongside strong skills in understanding customers, testing product and feature propositions and using insights to improve learning experiences. The role will benefit from hands-on experience of digital courseware products. Key Responsibilities + Work closely with HE customers to test product experiences, generate evidence, inform roadmaps and accelerate market uptake for digital courseware product models. + Work closely with North American colleagues to support UK-market development of US-originated courseware product models, in particular Mastering, MyLab and Revel product models, and act as a bridge between US and UK teams on platform and product requirements, roadmaps and releases. + Work with colleagues in UK sales and marketing teams to support the identification, assessment and prioritization of market opportunities & customer pain points for new digital product models in Higher Education. + Design robust experiments with HE customers to hone product model, product experience and product pricing strategies. + Contribute to the creation of new products and capabilities (using the product lifecycle methodology). + Collaborate closely on projects with colleagues from the Content, Experience Design, Production, Efficacy & Learning Research, and Product Platform teams to create product experiences that improve outcomes for learners and drive business value for Pearson. + Be jointly accountable for the execution of customer experience of key digital product models, including good fidelity of implementation in the classroom/ institution. + Use research, digital experience and analytics to inform HE product strategy and identify which customers to target/key jobs to be done. + Drive continuous improvement once digital product models have been launched, to optimize customer experience, adapt to specific UK and international market segment requirements, respond to competitor actions and improve learner, and commercial outcomes. + Support achievement of sales and usage targets for your product models + Act as an engaging and effective ambassador for Pearson digital products, generating excitement and enthusiasm internally and externally. + Understand competitor digital courseware products, from both US and UK providers, and key drivers of share in the relevant markets. + Be part of a culture that promotes partnership, teamwork and innovation Pearson is an equal opportunities employer.
