Job Description

The Role Reporting to the Director, Product Management (who is based in the US), this role is responsible for partnering with the technical and commercial teams to drive forward mGage's product portfolio across local and international regions. The role is primarily focused on mGage mobile payments and local EU based Gateway technologies. Our product management team is responsible for steering products throughout our agile, phase-gate life cycle, focusing specifically on discovery, requirements analysis, engineering oversight, and moulding go to market solutions with the commercial teams to drive mGage business results. As part of the product management team, your enthusiastic ability to break down complex technical and business problems will drive significant product innovation in our markets. Responsibilities * Responsible for the planning, documenting and functionality of mobile payments * Maintain mobile payment product compliance * Be the in-house product expert and manage requirements from all relevant stakeholders * Own the creation and maintenance of the mobile payments roadmap and provide input into the global product roadmap * Drive input to the product roadmap and coordinate across stakeholders to ensure alignment of cost, schedule and scope of product initiatives * Work with commercial, technical and legal/compliance teams to prioritise ad-hoc and strategic requirements * Production of epics, detailed use cases, wireframes and any additional documentation to enable engineering and sales success * Work with the commercial teams to develop product marketing and pre-sales materials * Be the external product representative for the mobile payment product, presenting at conferences, participating in webinars and being an enthusiastic product advocate externally * Assist other internal product management stakeholders as necessary * Interact with engineering leadership to oversee delivery new products and features * Produce product documentation such as user guides and technical integration guides Experience, Skills and Abilities required: * Graduate degree (or higher) in Computer Science and/or Data Analytics or similar * Experience with Telecommunications Providers & Operators and/or Content Providers * Understanding of cyber security trends * Ability and experience to open new markets / services for existing products * Demonstrable experience of working with high value corporate customers, including at the CEO, CTO, COO, CFO levels. * Billing and payments background (mobile messaging gateway is an advantage) * Proven ability to work with both technical and commercial teams * Experience of software development practices, ideally Agile development methodologies * Experience in the planning, documentation, implementation and tracking of requirements for a specific or multiple projects to meet specified deliverables What we are looking for in you... * A keen interest in technology and its application * Commercial awareness * Ability to prioritise workload * Broad technical knowledge * A tenacious, excited and pragmatic self-starter with a professional approach * Excellent attention to detail and well disciplined * Enjoys innovative problem solving, and has strong analytical and problem-solving skills * A good collaborator, with an open, approachable style * A good written and verbal communicator (via presentations to one or many) * Flexibility and an appetite for numerous projects of varied scopes and size * Process-driven approach Privacy: As part of our recruitment process, mGage collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants.
