Job Description
Quality Engineer Bridgwater, Somerset Circa £35,000 Monday to Friday. Quality Engineer sought for well-established manufacturer who are offering ongoing training /development and job security. The role will be suited to experienced Quality Engineers from heavier manufacturing, mechanical manufacturing or production environments with knowledge of ISO & BRC standards. All experience levels will be taken into consideration. The role will involve resolving quality issues and ensuring the consistent quality across the product range. Driving continuous improvements and defining corrective actions for non-conforming products and complaints. Pushing quality system improvements using product audits, specification reviews and working closely with the commercial teams, Innovations, CI Champion and Operations teams to achieve the required quality standard. Output & Investigation of non-conformances / CAPA's utilising root cause analysis techniques. The company are well established & can offer a long term progressive role for the successful candidate. The role in Brief: *Resolving issues and developing and implementing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance. *Actively drive quality system improvements *Investigation of non-conformances / CAPA's utilising root cause analysis techniques. *Monday-Friday- Day shift The Person Required: * Experienced Quality Engineer from any manufacturing background, ideally; mechanical, heavy production or textiles * Used to working to ISO & BRC standards *Degree qualified or time served within a quality role
