We are looking to recruit band 6 Health Visitors. NELFT provides health visiting services across four very diverse London boroughs and Essex borough, ranging from areas of poor health and high unemployment to leafy suburbs, we can offer real variety. Working largely independently, but with the support of a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals, you'll deliver child health programmes. We'll depend on you to work in partnership with children's centers, schools, GPs, social care organisations and voluntary agencies, and to create close relationships with families built on honesty, respect and trust. About you: You will need to be a specialist community public health nurse, you should have knowledge of safeguarding and other legislation relating to children's health services and we will support you to develop your safeguarding experience. If you have 5+ years' experience as a Health Visitor you will be paid the top of band 6 19.06 plus High cost area allowance. If you have fewer than 5 years' experience it will be mid-point of the band 16.96 plus High cost area Allowance. As a minimum criteria all staff employed by the Trust should have a basic competency for numeracy and literacy at NVQ level 2 standard.
