Job Description
Do you enjoy working outdoors, helping people and have great communication skills? Do you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy being active? Do you have experience in leading and motivating a team? If so, NSL are currently recruiting for a On Street Supervisor to be based in Civic Centre, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, Kent What you will be doing... You will be leading and motivating a team of Civil Enforcement officers whilst on-street, ensuring a quality service delivery. You will also be responsible for training new Civil Enforcement Officers to the NSL way. What you'll be doing... * Preparing rosters 2 months in advance * Staff the radio base station and deal with enquiries from the Supervisors and Civil Enforcement Officers on street * Brief and post Civil Enforcement Officers to their duties daily, making sure full coverage of all beats * Training new Civil Enforcement Officers helping them to gain basic and NVQ qualifications * Carry out daily/weekly team briefings * Upload data from hand held computers * Authorise vehicles for clamp and removal action * Check accuracy of pocket books whilst on street and at the end of duty * Suspend and reinstate parking spaces/bays/places * 80% on street enforcement on foot, by car or by moped * Prepare a report at the end of each month summarising enforcement actions and all issues during the period * Attend Council & Police meetings when required * Statistical capture using Excel What you'll need... * Great communication skills * Organisation skills * Great motivator of staff, and able to delegate effectively * Full Drivers License and willing to take CBT * Word and Excel knowledge You will be working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) with shift times changing, flexibility for the role is essential.
