Job Description
The clinical laboratories within the National Waiting Times Centre Board has a vacancy for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist with experience in Haematology / Blood Transfusion. The successful applicant will be required to undergo additional basic training in Biochemistry and Microbiology to support the departments drive towards a multi-disciplinary laboratory service. Depending on experience of the successful candidate they will be expected and supported to undertake the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Biochemistry. The post is for 37.5 hours per week and participation in out of hours is mandatory and subject to agenda for change terms and conditions.
