Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Head and Neck for an Assistant Practitioner role with in Neurology. As a Practitioner you would be working within Hyper Acute Stroke and Neurology, working with in a multi -disciplinary team. We are looking for dynamic individuals who will enjoy the challenges of a Regional Stroke unit, and a Regional Neurology unit. The successful applicant will be enrolled on a 3 year Masters course at Hallam University where all competencies need to be achieved to progress to a Band 7 on successful completion of the course. You will be supported throughout this process to help you achieve your masters. The applicant needs to have phlebotomy and cannulation skills, be able to swallow assess, and perform a NIHSS score. The applicant would need to have extensive experience in Neurology and stroke, and be able to evidence management and leadership skills.
