Lead Occupational Therapist - intermediate care services

Come and work with us! We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Occupational Therapist within our Intermediate Care Services at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. Our Intermediate Care Services cover Bexhill Hospital and Rye Memorial Care Centre. We are recruiting to the role of Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist. The role will involve working alongside our Integrated Disciplinary Team, supporting patients as they undergo their rehabilitation journey. The Lead OT has key role in leading staff and supporting the development and implementation of the Rehabilitation Strategy for intermediate care services If you are interested in working for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and would like to have a rewarding career, we would welcome your application We are looking for an Experienced Occupational Therapist who is an excellent team leader, works well in a team environment, is highly motivated and committed, enjoys autonomy within their role and can support a variety of integrated disciplinary team. You will need to be forward thinking and have the ability to support development of the service in line with national initiatives and ESHT local policies. The role provides the opportunity to work holistically and the ability to use your expertise to support in the clinical leadership and development of the staff team, whilst delivering effective service delivery. The role is based within an established therapy team and supportive multi-disciplinary work environment. The post holder will be required to travel mainly between Bexhill and Rye Therapy units, as well as other ESHT sites on a less frequent basis.
