Neurodevelopmental Specialist

Band 7 Neurodevelopmental Specialist Job Advertisement We are looking for an Allied Health Professional (e.g. Speech and Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist) to join our small but busy Neurodevelopmental Team. The successful applicant will have considerable experience of working with children and young people with Autism and ideally have experience of working within a diagnostic team. Ideally we seek a candidate who has already completed ADOS 2 training and has experience of assessing a child's social communication skills in a range of settings. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and have experience of having difficult conversations with families. They will be able to advise on a wide range of Autism friendly strategies. The candidate will have knowledge of the possible differential diagnoses and will be able to use this understanding to support their decision making.
