Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced radiographer to lead our team of radiographers in NHS Grampian. In addition to clinical work, the post holder will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation as well as having a significant contribution to the management and development of the MRI Radiology Service, cross covering between MRI West, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Hutchison or Craig MRI Centres at Woodend Hospital and at Dr Grays, Elgin The MRI service currently has 2 Siemens Avanto 1.5T scanners and a GE 450 widebore scanner, with more MRI scanners planned for the Elective Care Centre in 2023 and the Baird Women's and Children hospital in 2024 The NHS also has access to a 3T Philips Achieva research scanner. We are looking for an innovative, organised radiographer with a flexible approach to work, demonstrable leadership skills and some management experience. It is expected that the successful candidate will have extensive clinical experience and will have gained an understanding and experience of the requirements of this type of post. We currently operate an extended working day, including evening and weekend shifts.
