Activities Facilitator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Activity Facilitator on Lamesley Ward, Hadrian Clinic The post would be an excellent opportunity for staff who are interested in facilitating the delivery of therapeutic activity within an inpatient environment. You would be supporting patients in identifying and carrying out individualised activity as well as helping provide ward based activity. You would also be expected to take an active role in the implementation of Talk 1st and the Safe Ward interventions. The post holder would work closely with the occupational therapy team and as part of the ward team. You will be expected to work shifts over seven days a week. Applications are invited from candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm and passion to embed and develop therapeutic activity. You must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, patient care and be a good role model in reflecting the Trusts core Values.
