Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to lead the pharmaceutical care services to both cardiology inpatients and outpatients within the Medical directorate based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH). You will lead the cardiology pharmacy team on this site and work closely with the multidisciplinary team in managing a defined inpatient case load, participation in weekly clinics and proactively seek to further develop cardiology pharmacy services in specialist clinics and management of day cases . You will be actively involved in the redesign of the clinical pharmacy service to this patient group and opportunities to undertake clinical audit and research within this field will be encouraged. You should have the revalant post qualification experience, a postgraduate qualification, experience of working in cardiology and be an independent prescriber are essential for this post.
