The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. Applications are invited from enthusiastic nursing RMN/RNLD staff to join a forward thinking CAMHS service. You will be required to carry out duties associated with assessment, risk management and specialist interventions. You should be able to demonstrate a strong interest or experience in working with children and young people and be committed to working towards the redesign of the current CAMHS model. You should be highly motivated and committed to adapting practice to the needs of children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Our whole system of thinking and working closely with colleagues in education, social work and the third sector has being recognised nationally by Scottish government and the child and young people's collaborative. Innovative practice in Ayrshire is being demonstrated in a variety of ways, from a whole system wellness model to targeted work based in schools and is all driven by service demand and the need to redesign. You should be forward thinking, able to embrace change, creative and committed to working together.
