A professional and down to earth family based in Markyate, St Albans, AL3 are looking for a professional long-term nanny to join their family. Due to the location of the property, you should have a driving licence (a manual car can be provided). Package Offered * £25,000 - £27,000 gross per year. * Beautiful Accommodation to live in - family are also happy to consider flexi live in/live out at the weekends * Manual car provided Family Background The family live in a beautiful part of the world, in a picturesque village. Only 25 miles from Central London. Both parents work full time. The father travels regularly for work, staying 3 nights on average away from the home each week, and the mum runs her own business - working from home 2-3 days a week and away for the remainder. They have chickens and plan to get a dog, so you should be pet friendly! They have three lovely boys, aged 6, 4 and 1yrs old. The 6yr old is in Year 1 and the 4yr old starts school in September - the 1 year old is at home full time. Both parents enjoy spending lots of lovely time with their family, but do require support with their children during daily life and routine. Duties All childcare duties as associated with the children including helping with arranging playdates, running errands and sorting anything out that is relevant to the little one. You'll be in charge of their rooms, their laundry and their clothes and ensure that they are fed healthy and wholesome food - there are food allergies so you need to be able to adapt to cater for them. You should be confident and loving, and your role will be focused on the children. You'll be taking the older children to school, both drop off and pickup, and then entertaining and playing with the youngest child. They are a busy family, and although mum works from home part of the week, her routine does change regularly and she is often in London. They are looking for a long-term nanny who is kind, flexible and loving. It will be sole charge, but you should be open to doing some shared charge. You should be enthusiastic, organised and tidy. Highly responsible and bright. You should create a loving and positive environment for the children in your care, willing to run around outside with them, creating fun and stimulating activities and taking charge in daily life. If you are organised and able to help mum with organizing the household that will be a great support - and the family would like someone to become a valued, long-term member of the family unit. Location/Accommodation The family live near Markyate, St Albans, AL3. The family will consider both full live in or flexi-candidates (live in during the week and live out at the weekends). You will be provided with a lovely space in the main house. Days/Hours Working Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 6:30pm. Languages You should have a good level of English. Special Skills You should be an experienced and enthusiastic nanny, with a positive and kind attitude. Driving is essential and a manual car will be provided.
