Fetal Montoring Surveillance Midwife Ormskirk District General Hospital Midwifery Part time (15 hours per week) Fixed Term (12 Months) Band 7 38,890-44,503 Per annum/pro rata Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals NHS Trust provides healthcare in hospital and the community to 258,000 people across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. Acute care is provided at Southport and Formby District General Hospital and Ormskirk District General Hospital. This includes adults' and children's accident and emergency services, intensive care and a range of medical and surgical specialities. Women and children's services, including maternity, are provided at Ormskirk Hospital. The North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre at Southport hospital provides specialist care for spinal patients across the North West, North wales and the Isle of Man. The Trust also provides sexual health services for the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton. Exciting opportunity for an experienced and clinically credible enthusiastic Midwife to provide leadership in implementing the saving babies lives V2 programme within Maternity. The role will include supporting staff to enhance their fetal monitoring skills, training, working with the senior team to develop a robust safety culture and acting as a role model demonstrating clinical leadership and midwifery expertise. The role will initially be for 12 months working 15 hours per week over 2 days. Role is suitable for a secondment.
