Financial Controller

Our client, established almost a century ago and now a leading business within its field, currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join their head office finance team near to Wimborne, Dorset. What will the role involve? * Directly supporting the Finance Director whilst overseeing a small team and ensuring the day to day running of all financial and accounting activities. * Providing accurate financial information to the business in line with all reporting timetables and deadlines. * Production of management accounts, as well as weekly and monthly rolling cash-flow forecasts. * Statutory accounting and management of year end process with auditors. * Identifying and implementing any process improvements. * Taking a lead on any wider projects that will be driven by finance for the wider business, whilst being responsible for ensuring the finance systems, processes and controls are in place to comply with all regulations and legislation. Suitable Candidate: * A fully qualified Accountant with a background within an SME environment. * Experience of leading and developing a small team . * Technically strong and with a background in either construction or manufacturing.
