Apprentice Painter and Decorator: 32 hours per week in work (This is paid at the national minimum wage according to age), plus 1 day studying at Gower college Join our Family...... As an apprentice painter and decorator you will be trained to carry out general and maintenance related painting and decorating tasks as part of our Association's in-house Directly Employed Maintenance Staff (DEMS) team. Under the supervision of the DEMS manager, the post holder will also be expected to undertake continual work assessments whilst attending further education in pursuit of a Painting and Decorating NVQ level 2 qualification. You should demonstrate you are able to work within our values of trust, honesty, fairness, respect, innovation and accountability. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check will be required for which we will pay. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
