Job Description

The Finance Department of NHS Grampian wishes to recruit a Ledger Assistant to join the NHS Grampian ledgers team. The team is extremely busy dealing with the processing of approximately 170,000 purchase and sale invoices with a value in excess of £150m. As such applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to work flexibly to strict processing deadlines and to remain calm under pressure. Applicants must be educated to Standard Grade level (passes) or equivalent and have relevant experience working within an accounts payable function or in a data input role. Computer literacy is an essential skill and applicants must possess excellent communication skills and be both numerate and literate.
