Behaviours: Knowledge of relevant procedures Level of customer Service Team Player Health and safety awareness and knowledge Communication Job Description Main Duties: * Day to day management and maintenance of the building, services and facilities * Liase with onsite contracting staff e.g. Security, Cleaning etc * Liaison with visiting contractors * Issuing work permits * Conducting regular performance meetings with Co-Op Facilities Manager and Company's DC Manager. * Promoting best practice at all times * Updating H&S records and reports with site audits * Management of H&S, First Aid Books, Statutory Requirements * H&S awareness and best practice * Liaison with Emergency Services as required * Implement and monitor safe, clean & clutter free initiatives * Management of day to day H and S issues (site specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc). * Management of all site PPE to ensure fit for purpose. * Management of site COSHH data and safe storage of materials. Also eyewashes, spill kits availability. * Management of Site Log Books and documentation contained therein. * Management of site notice boards containing info i.e. Statutory Notices, Policy posters, electric shock notices, insurance docs, schematic drawings etc. * Management of Fire Safety i.e. extinguisher checks, hose reels, exit doors, storage of materials in plant rooms. * Management of Access, Plant and Machinery i.e. hazards on site marked, ladder inspections and log up to date, PAT testing up to date and recorded, etc. * Management of Electrical equipment i.e. locked panels, warning notices, matting, interlocks functioning etc. * Management of Gas certification. Emergency notices combustion analysis records up to date, ventilation in plant rooms etc. * Management of the working Environment i.e. suitable PPE for conditions, noise levels, temperature levels.
