Role: Test Environment Manager Location: Skemersdale (30 Miles from Manchester) Job Type: Permanent/Contract Client: Cognizant This role is to manage Test Environment Management Services, to provide Test environment demand forecast, environment delivery plan and work with the rest of the team to make sure projects using the environments are supported end to end - Planning, provisioning, test data, smoke test, incident management and decommissioning Support complex , multi stream application release programs Deliver environment build, Manage configuration activity and enable support environments across technology areas including Mainframe, Unix, Windows Facilitate and aid diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct /arrange to correct most complex issues in environments Coordinate and collaborate with Monitoring teams and Service desk teams Proactively seek out and implement efforts that continuously improve test environments and related process to enable QA to deliver quality systems in a timely and efficient manner. To be able to coordinate with different teams - Configuration Management team, DBA's, Customer Infra teams and Application Development teams to coordinate changes to the environments. Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment Manages all day to day requests for changes to the test environments Proactively provide demand and Capacity planning Work with customer teams and on customer locations in Skelmersdale and Manchester Ability to plan, track, report to senior stakeholders.
