In a nutshell - we only provide the type of care that we would be happy with our own loved ones receiving. We are looking for part time CAREGivers to join our Nottingham team. It doesn't matter if you haven't worked in Home Care before, or if you are an experienced Support Worker. It is your kind, caring nature that will be invaluable to being an assistant to our elderly clients. Job Description What makes us different? We deliver all of our care with compassion. We provide them with the time they need to really care, and take time to match them to clients who we feel they will get along with. Perhaps you have had a career in customer service and now it's time for a change, those skills of customer care will be invaluable. Maybe you have been out of work whilst caring for a family member or raising a young family, but you know the high standards of care that we also expect for our clients. You will have your own clients that you will see on a regular basis - so you can see the difference that you are making. We match you to people locally, so no long travel times. Hours are part time, so fit in to your lifestyle. Ideally, we are looking for people on the following part time basis: Mornings - 7am - 12pm, at least 3 days per week and alternate weekends. Evening - 5pm/6pm - 10pm, at least 3 days per week and alternate weekends. However, we can consider other blocks of availability, why not call one of the team to discuss further on 0115 691 9528 Due to the community nature of the role it is desirable that you be able to drive with access to your own vehicle. Qualifications All candidates must attend a 4-day Pre Employment Assessment - covering all aspects of The Home Instead domiciliary care requirements; * The Ageing Process * Building Relationships * Medication Administration * Moving & Handling * Basic Life Skills Additional Information As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support.
