Job Description Twiddling your thumbs in the evenings and at weekends with nothing to do? How about making a difference to others and putting that spare time to good use? Are you looking for rewarding work? You can put a smile on the face of those who need it most! We are looking to recruit CAREGivers who are passionate to support local people to remain independent in their own homes by providing companionship, home help and activities of daily living throughout Nottingham. We can offer you between 10-16 hours mainly in the evenings between 5pm and 10pm, to include two weekends a month. You will need to offer availability between these times and extra hours are also available during weekdays and weekends. Means of transport is desirable to accompany clients to appointments or social activities. Home Instead are the UK's leading provider in home care service. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
