Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Wrexham as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services including Home Help, Companionship, Personal Care to help them keep independent in their own home. Offering flexible part time to full time hours from 16 - 30 hours, Morning runs start from 7.15 am or 8.25 am with a scheduled calls no less than the Home Instead minimum of 1 hour. You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others. Qualifications: No experience is necessary but ideal candidates must have a heart for serving others, as well as: A commitment to Home Instead's values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others. A valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage A genuine interest in caring for the elderly The willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality The ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with clients, family members, staff members and visitors
