DevOps Engineer What we're looking for: * Experience develping infrastructure as code and automation solutions on the AWS platform * Experience using and knowledge of Devops tools like Jenkins, Jira, Confluence and Nexus * Containerisation - principally Docker * Scripting Languages e.g. Groovy/Python/Ruby/JavaScript What You'll be doing: * Automation of application dependencies (including database, connectivity) * Working across multiple phases of software development within a project, dealing with the most technically challenging assignments * Coding and unit testing the most complex automation and CI/CD solutions for IT systems to a high level of quality, producing appropriate technical support to Program me/project managers and coaching to less experienced staff * Application deployment * Test environment build * Building an expert level awareness of relevant software design techniques, development tools and processes, providing leadership in the use of these across the organisation area within the team * Establishing and maintaining agreed standards applicable to the work undertaken and ensuring that these, and other mandatory standards and architectures, are adhered to. * Completing assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements, including a combination of performing operational support tasks to agreed service standards and supporting enhancements or other technical projects.
