Company Description We are a family run team here at Home Instead Weston Super Mare and have been running in our North Somerset community for 8 years now. We strive to be the care provider and employer of choice in our local area. Job Description We are looking for hardworking, kind and compassionate individuals to help people of our community to remain independently living at home in Clevedon . We offer: Pay rates of 8.60 - 11 (set to rise in April) Double pay on Bank Holidays Paid mileage at 25p per mile Paid travel time Paid holidays A long term career opportunity Free uniform and bag if wanted Workplace pension High street discount scheme Ongoing learning & development opportunities We have part time hours during the morning, lunch time, tea time and every other weekend available with lovely people local to you. Just tell us your regular availability and we will fill these hours for you. You will be visiting people in their own home to help them with all elements of their daily routines depending on their specific requirements, and provide meaningful companionship at the same time. This may also involve providing personal care assistance. This is a fantastic, rewarding role and you will really be making a difference to someone's life. Qualifications No previous experience is needed as we will support you with full, award winning training. But a warm heart and a caring nature are essential! Having a full, UK driver's licence and your own car is essential due to some tasks that may be involved like shopping trips, taking to appointments etc. We provide free ongoing learning and development opportunities such as the Care Certificate, Health and Social Care diplomas and an extensive range of distance learning courses. Additional Information We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. We require successful candidates to have an enhanced DBS check and provide a minimum of 4 references before starting work.
