She's an interface for the 99% - an AI assistant defining a new category, one that goes beyond saving up to actually changing how we feel about our finances. Through chat, she provides you with deep insights about your money, while suggesting personalised financial products that increase your ability to save. Watch this to dive a little deeper What you'll be doing We are building a world-leading team as we grow, driving us toward 10 million users over the coming 12-18 months. We're 5 for 5 on Glassdoor, and we're all based in Angel, just off Exmouth Market. Projects are undertaken over weekly sprints with sprint goals aligned to overall quarterly targets. Some of the projects you could work on include: * Machine learning; wehave a wealth of user transaction data that we are leveraging, using ML techniques, to provide better insights * Scaling to 10 million users; we need to ensure that our tech stack can support our ambitious growth targets over the next 12 months. We are working on optimising our rails application for performance and memory usage, and scaling our database * Product; working on an intelligent assistant used by hundreds of thousands of people offers unusual challenges and opportunities compared to your standard web application. We're constantly iterating based on user feedback to provide the best experience to our users Check out our office space here Our Tech Stack: * Ruby on Rails * Minitest * Sidekiq * React * Postgres * Redis * Heroku * Github * CircleCI * React About you * Ruby development experience with at least 2 years' experience in a backend role * Ability to reduce complex problems to simple solutions consistently * People who enjoy making those around you better engineers * Someone who's excited by what we're building at Cleo; you are product-focused and care about making our users' lives better How long will all this take?
