Job Purpose The London based Direct Lending Operations and Fund Accounting team is going through a period of significant growth due to new fund launches. To support this growth the team are looking for an experienced and highly motivated fund accountant to join them. The scope of the role is broad and will be suitable to someone who wants to build on their fund accounting experience and contribute towards the continued growth of the strategy. The successful applicant will primarily be involved with fund accounting activities on the core fund LP/GP structures but there is also the opportunity for involvement in the wide range of other activities that the Direct Lending Operations team is responsible for. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and gain experience on a wide range of fund structures and financial instruments within the rapidly growing Direct Lending space. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be joining a growing and important team, which is integral to continued success of the Direct Lending strategy. Applicants should be a team player, have a pro-active mindset and the ability to manage multiple workflows whilst contributing to a positive culture within the team. The role is responsible for a portfolio of funds and the key requirements for these funds will be: Quarterly Reporting Cycle: Delivery of relevant and accurate information to investors on a timely basis is a core requirement of this role. Since the launch of the Direct Lending strategy, the team has worked towards delivering best in class reporting and it is committed to delivering this in the future. - On a quarterly basis agree the quarter end schedule with the administrator and work towards meeting each of the agreed deadlines. - Quarterly NAV file preparation for a portfolio of funds. Primarily for LP / GP and master feeder structures with multiple Investor classes. - Investigate and resolve all discrepancies and reconciling differences with the administrator's files. - Review Financial Statements (Lux GAAP, UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS) and Capital Statements (ILPA) ahead of distribution to investors. - Calculation and review of fund management and performance fees. - Prepare fund-by-fund KPI and performance analysis including asset, investor and fund IRR's for internal distribution. - Contribute to the standardisation of controls and process across the fund platform. - Prepare and review portfolio tables for inclusion in investor advisor reports. Fund Liquidity and Fund Control: In addition to the quarterly reporting cycle, the role will also be involve: - Manage fund liquidity through LP drawdowns as well as bridge and leverage utlisations for a portfolio of funds. - Ongoing liaison with fund administrators ensuring ongoing and ad hoc deliverables for investors or other stakeholders are delivered on time. - Monitor FX risk through periodic FX hedge reconciliations and adherence to the FX Hedging Policy - Ensuring Fund Investment guidelines are met for new deal allocations - Maintenance of portfolio management systems. Experience with LP / GP structures and/or Master Feeder structures as well as a fund accounting background
