As a Nursing Assistant you will be working within the Douglas Grant Rehabilitation Ward based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. Douglas Grant Rehabilitation Ward is a busy Neurological rehabilitation ward with 16 beds. You must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro-active in achieving the best outcomes for our patients. You must also commit to further learning, undertaking the complex care needs of this patient group and participate in the rehabilitation process, as well as any further training agreed with the Senior Charge Nurse. Essentially you must be flexible with your work pattern- which will be depending on service needs. You should have excellent communication skills, have the enthusiasm and ability to provide therapeutic interventions to enhance the rehabilitation process for each individual patient, providing person centred care.
