Job Title Mobile Dev Ops Engineer Location Knutsford Channels Engineering has more than 1000 employees and is responsible for delivering a seamless, end-to-end technology solution to its clients, supporting the vision and strategy for Technology & Operations across Barclays. As a Mobile Dev Ops Engineer, you'll be driving activity across the Dev Ops engineering team, supporting system integrity, implementing designs and developing applications for the Barclays Leading Mobile Application. You'll be part of a team that highly value career development and support career growth by encouraging skill building by working collaboratively with respected SME's in the industry who have worked with various cutting edge technologies. What will you be doing? Providing direction for the DevOps Engineer team Testing our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed Deploying product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise Automating our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements Managing code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes Working with open-source technologies as needed Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT and SVN Driving activity across the team through development and operations What we're looking for: Dev Ops Experience Exposure of working with Jenkins Scripting Languages ie Python or similar A passion to build your skill set further as you'll be encouraged to work on cutting edge technologies Skills that will help you in the role: Experience of working with mobile applications in Android or IOS would be highly preferred Where will you be working?
