Job Description

Our client based in Shrewsbury is looking for an experienced Store Manager to join their established and growing company. Reporting to the sales manager you will be a driven, hardworking KPI focused individual with the ability to influence your team in order to drive results and set direction. You will have a positive and determined mind-set and be focused on promoting the company core values. You will ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to and best practice is followed in store. Responsibilities will involve - Creating the best customer journey possible by offering exceptional customer service and store standards Achieving and exceeding KPI's and controlling costs to maximise profit Dealing with staff performance issues, training and coaching to improve performance including HR matters such as return to work interviews, welfare meetings etc. Acting as a role model for all employees by continuously exhibiting a high level of attention to detail and direction in all tasks whilst using a consistent management style that follows the companies best practice Ensuring yourself and your team are compliant to all company policies Keeping day-to-day activities organised, creating rota's and working with the company HR system to ensure employees are up to date with all relevant policies Driving footfall in store Conducting training and coaching sessions to inspire and develop employees Addressing employee problems on the job to ensure everyone is thriving in the workplace and ensuring they are motivated in order to reach their full potential Maintaining a safe and clean work environment enforcing to Health and Safety policies Organising promotions and spearheading marketing efforts by setting up displays and educating customers and employees on promotions Managing projects as assigned and delegating tasks to employees You must demonstrate a motivated, strong and friendly approach with reliable, ethical and solid leadership skills with a background in managing medium to large sized teams in a high-ticket retail store. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well respected and established retail company working 5 days out of 7 including weekends offering an attractive salary of between 30,000 and 35,000 DOE plus bonus , benefits and onsite free parking.
