Job Description

IT and Business Systems Manager Purpose of the Role : To advise Haribo on IT and Business Systems solutions that will best help us grow and perform more efficiently. To work with colleagues on projects from beginning to end, outlining the most effective resources and oversee projects through design, development to completion, followed by effective evaluation. Context of Job and Key Relationships : * Responsible for the overall Computer System within Haribo both at PI and PII (operational and office based), ensuring installation and stability, whilst ensuring that backup systems are all in place. * Key Relationships with all Dept. Heads, External Suppliers, Consultants and supply reporting to the Leadership Team. * Support and lead the IT team to deliver success in their individual roles and as a team, whilst providing guidance to business systems consultants. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities : * Develop requirements, outlines, budgets and schedulers for information technology projects * Oversee all phases of project from conception to completion * Assist with upgrading information security * Manage team of staff, consultants, programmers, developers and analysts, from an IT perspective * Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time * Follow PMI standards to manage projects through the life cycles of initiation, planning, execution and closure * Develop work-breakdown structures * Develop project tracking and variance reports * Assemble risk management plans and work effort documents * Create project documentation * Provide risk assessment and business continuity advice * Review estimates and assess new opportunities * Prepare proposals and flag potential issues * Manage multiple vendors through the supply of all services * Utilise in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions to meet business needs whilst protecting business assets * Develop security standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms * To carry out any other tasks commensurate with this post Qualifications / Experience : * Excellent organisational skills * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Understanding of complex information and requirements * Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans * Effective evaluation and feedback skills * Good knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR) and Cyber Security processes * Good communication and presentation skills - written and verbal * Excellent IT skills and knowledge combined with a good level of business acumen * Confidence in effective decision-making * A good team-playing mentality, who easily builds relationships with others * Good leadership skills * An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints System Requirements: * Database and Networking management * AS400 knowledge (implementation, maintenance, etc.) * Desirable - INFOR / M3 Knowledge * Desirable - Experience of the SAP system and implementation * Essential - VMWare and NetApps to a high level of qualification
