As part of our journey we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Worker to join our PICU Unit within the Acute and Urgent Care Directorate. North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare is now rated as an 'Outstanding' NHS Trust and our staff pride themselves on compassion, team work and resilience. The Trust offers a combination of shift working, including long days, short shifts and a flexible working policy to support working families. We also offer rotational opportunities for staff that would like to experience a variety of in-patient wards. Our Directorate provides patient-centred mental health and related services for people of all ages with varying needs; aiming to be the best in all that we do and working in partnership to deliver services that promote recovery, wellbeing and independent living. We have an ethos of multidisciplinary working and this is reflected on the wards too, with access to occupational therapy and psychology as well as medical and nursing interventions.
