Job Description

Java Developer - Edinburgh Salary up to 45k DOE A global leader in their industry is looking for a Java Developer to join their award winning team with passion for IT. They are looking for a candidate who can learn, and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry as you work on some of the most creatively rewarding, large-scale projects to be found in any entertainment medium. Requirements: * Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures and advanced programming concepts. * PA / Hibernate & Hibernate Search. * Spring Boot. * Elasticsearch * SQL / NoSQL * JUnit / TestNG / Unit testing. * REST / Web Service APIs. Beneficial skills: * A willingness to do full stack development * Exposure/experience in a Linux environment. * C#, JavaScript framework. * Experience with Microservices architecture and multi-tier server applications. * Exposure to Caching Systems, Docker/Kubernetes, Spring Cloud, Netflix Zuul, Netflix Eureka, Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, Lucene, Swagger. * Cloud - AWS but will consider Azure/ GCP * Experience with data warehousing and analytics.
