CAREGivers for mornings or evenings and weekend teams - contracted hours
Overview
Job Description
Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With visits lasting a minimum of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation, we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust, and enable us to provide personalised support to each client. Job Description Are you interested in working either mornings or evening and weekends? If so, we are looking for people with kind and compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients across North Bristol, supporting and enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. This could be by helping with jobs around the home, going shopping or to appointments, encouraging interests and hobbies, and assisting with morning and evening routines. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential. What we look for are caring and thoughtful people who share our vision to support others as you would your own family. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful, and enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable spending time in the company of others. Qualifications We are offering average hours contracts with a guaranteed minimum monthly income. There are two contracts available to cover mornings or evenings plus alternate weekends, with a Monday off every week. The benefit of these contracts is that you can be sure of a minimum income each month. To be eligible for the guaranteed 12 hour minimum morning plus weekend contract you need to be available from 8am-12pm Tuesday-Friday mornings and from 8am-12pm and 6pm-10pm on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. To be eligible for the guaranteed 12 hour minimum evening plus weekend contract you need to be available from 6pm-10pm Tuesday-Friday evenings and 8am-12pm and 6pm-10pm on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. You will also be required to be a driver and have access to reliable transport, and be prepared to assist clients with personal care. There may be some weeks where you are scheduled to work less than the minimum number of hours so you would make up the additional hours in the following weeks. Whilst 12 hours is the guaranteed minimum there is the capacity to work up to 50% more than this. Additional Information As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support. If you're looking for a rewarding and meaningful role, we would love to hear from you. Please click on 'I'm Interested' or alternatively, contact us on 0117 989 8210. We encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work. Home Instead Senior Care is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure.
