The Role: The Automation/QA Tester will work across multiple teams and squads to ensure Quality assurance and testing is properly fulfilled on our product. Responsibilities: The candidate must have a passion for quality software and have strong influencing skills; on order to continually emphasize the importance of quality in all things; starting from requirements and user stories through to code development, unit, system and integration testing, and delivery. The selected candidate must have some experience in web based application software testing; having experience both creating and maintaining software automation test scripts. Likewise, the candidate must have a working knowledge of software engineering concepts such as software development standards, quality assurance standards, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), interpretation of product requirements, test plan and test case development, testing of software functionality, product installation, performance, load, and usability testing, testing in a continuous integration continuous delivery environment, and automated regression testing. Responsibilities: * Work with analysts and developers to test intra-sprint developments to ensure they satisfy the defined acceptance criteria * Contribute to scrum teams in helping to define plausible scope and commitment targets * Conduct manual testing of in-flight stories and bugs, and then automate them for repeat execution using the applicable tool(s) * Develop, and execute, test automation programs for both web UX automation (Katalon) and API automated tests (PostMan or similar) Key Skills: * Experience with automation coding languages (Selenium Webdriver) * Experience with automated testing toolsets (Katalon Studio, Quality Center, SOAPUI, Postman) * Experience with quality assurance practices and testing methodologies. * Experience working on agile projects. * Basic to mid-level programming (for test automation script development), on languages such as C#, Java or JavaScript * Problem-solving skills * Organisational and time management skills * Accuracy and attention to detail * Teamwork and influencing skills, because most projects require input from individuals with different roles * Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends * Familiarity with JIRA Nice to have: * Experience within financial services industry * Experience testing bespoke web applications * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Apply for this Job
