If this sounds appealing to you, you could be a good culture fit for our latest role Job Description This is a talent pipeline activity, we are expecting a high demand for AWS DevOps contractors and we would like you to register your interest in working with Version 1. Version 1 will have a number of AWS DevOps Engineer needs for dynamic and enthusiastic cloud and infrastructure specialists who enjoys working with customers and internal staff alike. You will be a solid team player and superb communicator who can deliver excellence in both project and support work. Based within our Cloud consulting team, these roles are responsible for providing Cloud and DevOps consulting services, including technical presales, scoping, architecture, design, build and deployment of engineering solutions. The role is customer-facing and will entail liaising with customers to enhance current systems, plan and deliver projects, and implement new solutions. The role is varied in scope and technology, and can entail the development of innovative solutions in the cloud, delivering cloud migration projects, and supporting development teams with DevOps technologies (CI/CD pipelines, config management, etc.) Qualifications Essential criteria: * Security Clearance is preferrable and elagibility is essnetial * Experience of AWS * Experience of designing, building and supporting Enterprise solutions * DevOps experience * Experience of Python, Go, Node or similar language * Self-motivated and driven to learn new technology Desirable Skills: * Passionate about technology -Attending conferences, personal Github projects, blogging, speaking at meetup groups, etc. * Experience in a Site Reliability-based role * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Azure RM, Cloudformation, etc.) * DevOps and automation experience (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform) * Experience with containers, docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and similar technology * Additional infrastructure skills such as networking / storage / etc. would be beneficial. * Existing professional cloud qualification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, MCSA, RHSCA etc.). * Experience in cloud migrations * Experience with cloud design and patterns * Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery and site replication solutions.
