Job Description

A growing organisation operating in the hospitality sector are seeing a SQL DBA/Developer to join their team in Reading. The role will be a 50/50 split between SQL Server DBA and Development work. Therefore, you will be responsible for typical DBA tasks, such as capacity planning, database design, , performance monitoring, as well as backup and data recovery. You will also be involved in the development of data products, focusing predominantly on SSIS and SSRS. Whilst the majority of their reporting is currently on SSRS, they are looking to move towards Power BI in the future, so you will have the exciting opportunity to get involved with this and gain exposure to the latest reporting tools. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills with SSAS, allowing you to become a well-rounded developer and take your career to the next level. You will be joining a close-knit team consisting of a BI/Data Manager and a couple of other DBAs, and will be well-supported in your personal and professional development.
