Job Description Quite a bit different to most care assistant jobs, here at Home Instead with a minimum of an hour's visit - you have time to get to know your regular clients. With our 5 star CQC rating - Outstanding in every aspect, you can be confident that you are joining an amazing team. It's Care - companionship with relationship building at the heart of our part time jobs. As a care assistant you will support our clients with their day to day living. From getting the day off to a great start, maybe a cooked breakfast , a light lunch or a visit to the garden centre or hobby group - to medication prompts and support when our clients are convalescing our award winning training underpins our excellent reputation. Qualifications Over 18? reliable? with a car? (Essential - we take our clients out and about to appointments and shopping trips) There are no formal qualifications better than having a kind heart and common sense. We do have retired nurses, and people who have got fed up of an office job or retail sales role. Ex forces or a stay at home parent? - it's a friendly smiley personality that will make a difference in an older person's life. Additional Information It's part time work - between 6 - 16 hours a week, a few hours each day. A variety of contracts are available - just get in touch to see what will fit around your availability.
