Support Worker

I have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to work within a Residential Supported near Newent, Gloucestershire. You will find yourself supporting Adults with mild Learning Disabilities. You will be providing both practical and emotional support to service users whilst ensuring the highest standard of tailored care possible. You will be supporting people to improve their quality of life and achieve their goals. If you are patient, caring and compassionate then this is the role for you. Day-To-Day duties will include; -To actively support person centred planning with each individual -To actively support each individual to manage their health needs -Provide support in line with individuals support plans and service aims & objectives -Undertake key working responsibilities -Ensure that every individual you will be supporting is safeguarded from harm -To facilitate and empower independence by encouraging and promoting participation in all aspects of daily life Candidate Requirements; -NVQ/QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care is desirable -Experience within the Care industry -You must be a Driver Salary/Contract; -£9 p/hour -Occasional Sleep Ins paid at £55 p/sleep -This is for a Full-Time position, 37.5 hours a week -You will be required to work Alternate Weekends If you have the right skills and experience for this role then get in contact with Sarah Parsons at BS Social Care.
