Our clients is the largest fishing tackle retailer in the UK and is committed to reinventing fishing tackle retail to provide an unrivalled experience in this growing industry. We offer over 40,000 products from leading manufactures via our website and via our 22 stores across the country. In July 2017, we successfully floated on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and we are investing the funds raised in opening new stores, extending our online operations and increasing our sales in Europe. This is an exciting time for the Company and we are seeking skilled, creative and enthusiastic individuals to help us attain our goals. Role: The Nottingham store will be the first of our 2019 openings. The Store Manager will have overall responsibility for the store during the 'day to day' running. Responsible for staff and working closely with the Area Manager, and other senior managers, the Store Manager will be a role model of exemplary behavior and high performance with a real passion for delivering results and driving the business agenda forwards. The Store Manager will be expected to work weekends as this is often the busiest time and will need to be on-hand.is Responsibilities: Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability. Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff.? Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements. Complete store administration and banking ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. Report on buying trends, customer needs etc. Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths. Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) Reviewing sales and stock targets including core stock ranges. Organising working rotas and holidays. Liaise with Marketing to provide support for the smooth implementation and maintenance of the Marketing strategy.? Additional store manager duties as required. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills. Business administration. Retail experience in either a store or head office environment. Proven capability as a driven and results orientated individual.? Health and Safety knowledge .
