Job Description

As Delivery Planner reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management, planning and delivery of orders to our customers' sites. That will mean building sound relationships with customers and hauliers in addition to close liaison with our Sales Team to help drive the highest standards of customer service. Acting as a first point of contact, it is essential you are customer service-driven and able to build a strong rapport with our customer over the phone and face-to-face, with the confidence to deal with stakeholders inside and outside of the company. Other key deliverables include: Development of a value and maximising cost-efficiencies through effective haulage routing A real grasp of logistics and routing enhancing the reputation of our delivery function Work to an agreed level of service and provide an empowering input on continuous improvement processes About you You are highly motivated and willing to focus and commit You have the ability and desire to work with different partners with differing levels of knowledge You are committed to exceeding expectations You are an excellent communicator We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
