An exciting opportunity for a Chef de Rang *Michelin Star 2020*, AA Restaurant of the Year England 2013/14 and Listed in the Top 50 UK Restaurants in The Good Food Guide 2020 with a Cooking Score of 7/10 The Artichoke is delighted to have been awarded its first Michelin star and this is a fantastic time for an experienced Chef de Rang to join this forward thinking creative, restaurant offering modern, fine dining combined with a high level of personable, professional service. The contemporary interior revolve around the culinary theatre of an open kitchen and a private dining room with its own wine cellar. The restaurant is set in the beautiful Chiltern Hills with close links to London and features the innovative cuisine of award winning Chef Patron Laurie Gear and his team. The successful Chef de Rang should have the following qualities: * Proven previous experience in a similar high level of restaurant service * Well presented with personality, charisma and excellent communication skills * You should have a passion for fine food, wine and delivering outstanding customer service. * Highly motivated to be a part of an existing professional team and an aptitude to train others. In return for your dedication and talents we offer the successful Chef de Rang : * A highly competitive salary * A five day week(the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and Monday) * 28 days holiday including Christmas and New Year as the restaurant is closed for this period. * Contributory Pension Scheme * An excellent working environment and the opportunity to grow and develop The successful Chef de Rang must be living and be eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
