Inclusion Manager 50,000 - 60,000 plus benefits (Grade D17) 12 month fixed-term contract Manchester city centre We're looking for an inclusion manager to join us, and help us to sustain and embed a diverse and inclusive culture across our Co-op. Having an inclusive culture is at the very heart of our strategic vision, and we need to equip over 60,000 colleagues with the tools they'll need to make our business a truly inclusive environment with teams which reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. In this role, you'll need to be a diversity and inclusion (D&I) expert, capable of influencing people at the highest level to lead real cultural change. It's a big job, but if you have the knowledge and passion that we need, then we can offer you the chance to lead significant change and help shape the future of our unique organisation by promoting new ways of thinking. What you'll do: implement the objectives set out in Co-op's D&I strategy, making sure that diversity and inclusion are authentically woven into the way we do business lead on key programmes of work like Inclusive Leadership, improving people processes and engaging colleagues to make sure these initiatives deliver positive outcomes build partnerships across the business, with leaders, HR teams and colleague networks build capability in our leadership teams, empowering them to create an inclusive culture and diverse teams at a local level evaluate and measure initiatives to make sure we're doing the right things use data and insight to help us measure and develop appropriate interventions This role would suit people who have: experience of working in a large and complex organisation like ours a background in HR with a strong technical understanding of HR processes in-depth knowledge of diversity and inclusion (particularly the business case for D&I) the ability to lead and embed cultural change the ability to build positive relationships and influence and challenge people at all levels Why Co-op?
