Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager with technical or IT project management skills to help deliver IT projects including; roll out of Windows 10 / Office 2016, system/application upgrades (Citrix, Exchange, Redbox, CRM, document management), Windows 2012/2016 upgrades, migration to new ITSM tooling and assistance with developing and implementing a Cloud Migration strategy longer term. Key Responsibilities General * Ability to run multiple projects in parallel * Ability to facilitate, negotiate and present technical complex problems to non-technical audiences * 3rd party supplier management and delivery * Agreeing project objectives * Organising the various professional people working on a project * Making sure that all the aims of the project are tracked and met * Making sure the quality standards are met through the agreed project methodology * Representing the client's or organisation's interests * Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress * Self-starter with a willingness to research in order to deliver the best set of outcomes * Successfully execute the project to agreed schedule, budget and scope * Perform the relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management * Plan the project based on a defined need - results in detailed scope/budget/schedule baseline * Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control * Reports on variances to the approved project baseline * Close the project to formalize acceptance of the project result and release project resources * Communicate with project team, management and stakeholders * Manage project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project * Performs gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with sponsors * Delivery of projects aligned to overall business and technology strategies and architectures * Work within defined governance processes * Support development of business cases with the business sponsors Regulatory Responsibilities (Compliance/T&C) * Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
