Job Description
A leading Independent school are looking for a Gap Year Assistant to join them in the new academic year, September 2020. This is a one year contract and a full time position. Are you a recent school or University leaver? Perhaps you are taking a gap year before University? Or are you looking to pursue a career within teaching? This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working within an excellent Independent Prep School. A typical day in the life of a Gap Year Assistant * Working with children of all ages * Supporting different departments as and when required * Offering IT support across the school; a keen interest in IT and computing would be beneficial! * Promoting and nurturing a safe school environment * Encouraging good relationships, behaviour and communication This role would suit an energetic and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for working with children. You should have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, thinking outside the box to find the solution. A hard working attitude and willingness to get stuck in is essential!
