Stirlings is located near the heart of the beautiful market town of Wantage providing residential care to 40 residents. Laundry Assistant / Housekeeper Location: Stirlings, Wantage Hours of work: 9-2/9-2.30 Pay: Mon - Sat 8.90, Sat: 9.90 Sun - 10.05 The Orders of St John Care Trust is the 2nd largest not for profit care provider in the UK specialising in providing high quality, person centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing. As a charity we ensure that any revenue goes straight back into our homes meaning our residents and staff are well looked after. Housekeeper: As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the home, which may also involve helping with the laundry. You will take pride in presenting the home to its highest standard and help to welcome residents and their family and friends to the environment. As an integral part of the team you will get to know the residents and know what their preferences are in their individual spaces, they may even want to help you. Alternate weekend working will be required Laundry Assistant: As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry facilities including all linen storage areas and for providing a laundry service which includes the operation of commercial washing, drying and finishing machinery. As an integral part of the team you will get to know the residents and know what their preferences are, they may even want to help you. Alternate weekend working will be required.
