Meadowcroft offers compassionate, individualised residential, dementia and nursing care for 71 residents just a short walk from the historical market town centre of Thame. Night Carer / Night Health Care Assistant Location: Meadowcroft, Thame, Oxon Pay: Nights: Mon-Fri: 10.27, Saturday:11.27, Sunday:12.71 +40p per hour enhancement NVQ (QCF) Level 2 or above Hours of work: Full time, part time or bank hours available Shift Patterns: 7pm-7am to include alternate weekends The Home: Meadowcroft offers compassionate, individualised residential, dementia and nursing care for up to 71 residents in a modern, comfortable environment. Opened in 2011, Meadowcroft is situated in a quiet, residential location on Queens Road, about a mile from Thame town centre. As a charity, we ensure that any revenue goes straight back into our homes meaning our residents and staff are well looked after. What will you be doing? As Carer, you will be working as part of a dedicated team of fully supported staff who have our resident's emotional and physical well-being at the core of all they do. You will show warmth, and compassion to our residents and their families; helping to promote their independence and dignity. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that's as varied as it is rewarding. As a Carer, you'll help our residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care they deserve. You'll assist with their daily living, encouraging their participation in meaningful activities as well as providing support and companionship. What experience do you need? Due to our strong training team, you do not need to have previous care experience. All we ask for is someone who is compassionate, has a can-do approach and excellent communication skills.
